AUSTIN, Texas — The leading environmental remediation, construction, and recycling company that specializes in treatment and recycling of impacted soils, sediments, and groundwater, Lone Wolf Resources (LWR), today announced the company is celebrating its 20th year in business.
LWR formed in 1999 by two petrochemical companies to provide remediation, and construction services at a former refinery that had been declared a state superfund site. The company is now a privately-held firm.
“Twenty years ago we set out to build an organization that focused on minimizing our clients’ environmental liabilities by providing innovative solutions in a safe manner,” said Ramiro Santana, Lone Wolf Resources president. “Today, LWR has safely and successfully managed numerous remediation and recycling projects in the United States, Canada, and Latin America.”
Santana also said the company also works diligently to attract and retain the best employees.
LWR was the first contractor to implement a successful asphalt stabilized base (ASB) recycling project at a State Superfund Site and was recognized by the State of Texas as a finalist for the 2001 Texas Environmental Excellence Award for these efforts. In 2007, LWR was part of the team that won the National Groundwater Association’s Outstanding Groundwater Remediation Project for the successful implementation of the largest In Situ Thermal Remediation project in the world.
