Lone Wolf Resources, LLC (LWR) is an environmental remediation and construction company, specializing in providing cost-certain removal and containment solutions, sustainable treatment and beneficial reuse of impacted soils, sediments and groundwater.

We deliver advanced solutions to complex environmental problems.

If desired, we will assume the risks to achieve regulatory closure to remediate and even purchase your most challenging environmental liabilities. We can do this because of the experience we’ve gained over the past twenty years providing remediation solutions for some of the most difficult sites in the US.

LWR is a Texas limited liability corporation (LLC) formed in 1999 by two global petrochemical companies to provide remediation and construction services at a former refinery declared a state superfund site. LWR continues to work for this client 20 years and this project since we first mobilized to this site and we’ve saved our client more than $100MM by using innovative treatment and beneficial use remedies.

Our recycling solutions produce usable products from impacted soils and oily wastes, and our construction services cover the broad range of environmental field remediation.

LWR was the first contractor to implement a successful asphalt stabilized base (ASB) recycling project at a State Superfund Site and was recognized by the State of Texas as a finalist for the 2001 Texas Environmental Excellence Award for these efforts.

In 2007, LWR was part of the team that won the National Groundwater Association’s Outstanding Groundwater Remediation Project for the successful implementation of the then largest In Situ Thermal Remediation project in the world. LWR has established itself as a leader in the remediation industry by providing innovative solutions.

Today we continue to serve our Oil Field and Petrochemical clients but have grown to serve clients in the Power, Mining, Manufacturing and Brownfields Redevelopment sectors and making investments to work safely in challenging working environments such as closure of wet coal ash (CCR) impoundments.

Company Timeline

1999

LWR was created by two Fortune 500 companies, Chevron and TOTAL Petrochemicals, to manage the largest State Superfund Site in Texas.

2001

LWR was the first contractor to implement a successful asphalt stabilized base (ASB) recycling project at a State Superfund Site.

2001

LWR designed and constructed an asphalt emulsion plant as part of remedial solution.

2003

LWR was recognized by State of Texas as a finalist for the 2001 Texas Environmental Excellence Award.

2004

Current owner/operator team acquired LWR from Total Petrochemicals.

2004

LWR implemented 1st environmental remediation/stabilization project in Central America for Chevron.

2005

LWR established Lone Wolf Canada, and completed its 1st Waste Recycling / Sustainable Solutions project in Canada.

2007

LWR successfully completed world's largest Electrical Resistive Heating project for RETIA USA.

2009

LWR awarded National Groundwater Association's Outstanding Remediation Project of the Year.

2011

LWR successfully completed landfill closure using beneficially reused capping material designed by LWR team.

2012

LWR completed 2nd turnkey refinery decommission project in the US.

2012

LWR established LWR Oil and Gas Services and entered the Oil and Gas Environmental Services Market.

2013

LWR Oil and Gas designed, constructed and operated 5 Salt Water Disposal Systems in the Permian Basin.

2013

LWR Oil and Gas owned and managed over 50 miles of pipelines and 8 frac ponds as part of its Water Resources Management Business Unit.

2016

LWR sold its Oil and Gas Division to an International Oil Producer.

2018

LWR's first ash management / decommissioning site.

2019

LWR initiates its first CCR Remediation / Powerplant Decommissioning project.

2020

LWR provides First CCR Rule Risk Transfer Solutions for projects in Ohio and Texas.
